Personal coaching to give you the tools and skills to meal prep regularly and have more fun in the kitchen.

Choose 1 session or the 4 session package to change your cooking life for good!

You CAN eat great food, feed yourself and your family well and save time cooking. With Katrina cooking is fun, accessible and empowering. You'll learn how to use new spices, how to flavor dishes to make them different, and practical cooking techniques you'll actually use every week.

 

INCLUDES

30 minute phone/video consultation to determine your meal prepping needs. Shopping list, recipes and equipment list included. You do the food shopping.

3 1/2 hours of live coaching in person with Katrina or over video conference. Essential cooking techniques: roasting, searing (meat or tofu) steaming, sautéing, how to make soups, stocks, sauces, vinaigrettes, healthy snacks, dips and more.

Access to email and call Katrina for up to 6 weeks after your follow up consultation for continued advice, tips and support.

Group online coaching to give you the support, tools & skills to meal prep regularly & have more fun in the kitchen.

Starts Tues. January 8, 2019

Includes 4 Tuesdays in a row from January 8th to January 29th. This immersive experience will help you put these habits in place for good! 

Learn in a fun setting with a community, & from the comfort of your own home.

You CAN eat great food, feed yourself and your family well and save time cooking. With Katrina cooking is fun, accessible and empowering. You'll learn how to use new spices, how to flavor dishes to make them different, and practical cooking techniques you'll actually use every week.

 

INCLUDES

Shopping list, recipes and equipment list will be sent at least 3 days prior to class. You do the food shopping & have equipment ready to go at beginning of class.

1 hour four Tuesdays in January of live coaching with Katrina over video conference. You'll get to know the other participants and gain skills and insights with them through the live calls and in the private Facebook group. Must be available from 6 - 7 pm US Mountain Time on January 8, 15, 22 and 19 of 2019.

Or you can watch a replay if you miss a week.

This is group coaching, so you will get some individual attention, but if you want an individualized class, please see offerings above.

In this series you receive a 1 hour post-consult in the month of July at a time coordinated with the instructor to get even more tips and ideas.

Essential cooking techniques: roasting, searing (meat or tofu) steaming, sautéing, how to make soups, stocks, sauces, vinaigrettes, healthy snacks, dips and more.

Learn to efficiently shop, prep, cook and store foods to help them last. This menu will have some meat dishes, but can be adapted to be vegetarian. *Menu is not gluten or dairy free.

An experience you and your guests will never forget! Do something different for a dinner party & treat your guests to an experience.  Even great for a  bachelorette or engagement party. Come learn fun, practical cooking techniques with your friends that everyone will use for years to come.

You simply show up with your guests! Katrina does the shopping and the food and drink* is included in the cost of the class. Class can be taught in your home kitchen or we can select another cooking location by mutual agreement.

 

INCLUDES

  • Menu options of vegan, vegetarian and light meat menus with a hearty salad, entrée, decadent dessert and homemade sparkling (non-alcoholic) drink. 

  • 2 ½ hour cooking class with personal instructor. Last 30 minutes are reserved for dining.
  • Includes lovely spice jar with wooden spoon as party favor for each guest!
  • *You're welcome to provide alcohol, but The Empowered Kitchen will not serve, nor provide alcoholic beverages for the party.

Everyone will participate in this hands on class, make their own lunch and get ideas to make their own hearty, healthy lunches for the week.

 

INCLUDES

  • 2 1/2 hour class with food and shopping included in price. Last 30 minutes reserved for dining.
  • Instructor will come to your workplace.
  • Works well if you have a kitchen available (at least a sink), but the instructor has portable equipment to create a classroom almost anywhere
  • Choice of vegetarian, vegan or light meat menu. Contains a salad with homemade vinaigrette, two snacks, two lunch entrées and herbal tea. 
 
 

 

Team Building Cooking Class

Healthy, happy teams are productive teams! Bring The Empowered Kitchen to your workplace to empower your employees to meal prep all their meals for their workweeks.

Everyone will participate in this hands on class, make their own dinner and get a tasting of the basic skills to make all their own meals for the week.

In this Team Building class we will divide the group into teams, each with a head chef. The head chefs will have to work closely with one another to coordinate the timing of the meal. It's a great way to get your team working together in a different setting and building their confidence in a new way. 

 

INCLUDES

  • 3 hour class with food and shopping included in price. Last 30 minutes reserved for dining.
  • Instructor will come to your workplace.
  • For this more involved class than the corporate wellness option, we need a full kitchen space available with an oven, stovetop and basic cooking equipment. The instructor can bring some extras and will coordinate equipment with you.
  • Choice of vegetarian, vegan or light meat menu. Contains an appetizer, salad, entrée, side, dessert and non-alcoholic sparkling drink.
