Nathan Ricke is the Director of Programming, which seeks to build a network of restaurants making a rapid and sustainable contribution to reduce food insecurity in NYC. He is responsible for establishing and improving a system for selecting, onboarding and managing restaurants, community organizations, and supply chain partners to work together to efficiently and deliciously feed our neighbors.
Mr Ricke has over a decade of experience in the food service industry, with 8 of them as the Lead Managing Partner of a Brooklyn based hospitality group. He directs daily operations at two locations in the city and has developed and opened 3 projects in upstate New York as a consultant. Prior to opening his first bar in 2012, Mr. Ricke spent 6 years working in international development, first as a grant writer and program manager in Washington DC and then as Operations Director and Western Equatoria State Program Manager for World Vision International in South Sudan.
