Amazing Summer Soups, Salads and Dessert

Held at Workability ~ Uptown at the Sudler

1576 Sherman St, Denver, CO 80203

Wednesday June 26, 2019

5:30-8 pm

This meal prep cooking class will focus on creating healthy meals for singles, couples or families to be heated up during the week for dinner and taken as leftovers to work. Focus will be on seasonal, whole ingredients and making simple, gourmet meals from scratch.

We discuss the environmental impacts of our food choices and how to reduce our food waste, so we can minimize our impact on the environment and save money. It’s a win, win! We’ll have so much fun sharing laughter, connection and great food in the kitchen!

Meal prep basics will be covered throughout the demonstration and how to incorporate these dishes into a meal prep session so cooking is less stressful throughout the week.

Each participant will eat a hearty meal during the last 30 minutes of class.

Please bring 1 small jar, such as an 8 ounce mason jar, so you can take home your chia seed pudding to enjoy the next morning.

  • Gazpacho

  • Mexican Chicken Salad with Orzo

  • Falafel Bowl with Roasted Red Pepper, Arugula & Homemade Creamy Dressing

  • Quinoa, Salmon Bowl with Roasted Vegetables & Mediterranean Vinaigrette

  • Blueberry & Vanilla Chia Seed Pudding

*Dietary restrictions and allergies must be provided at least one week prior to class, otherwise the instructor can’t promise to accommodate all dietary needs.

You can prep one day a week to spend less time cooking, have insta-worthy, healthy meals ready to grab and go or just heat up when all you wanna do is collapse in a heap after work.

Want to eat meals that are good for you and taste like your personal chef is Jamie Oliver? For real. I can help you take control of your kitchen, know how to meal prep regularly and not have the stress of wondering what's for dinner.

Plan for a variety of dishes each week with some of the same ingredients so you can maximize the use of each ingredient you buy. No more throwing away that half bunch of cilantro or old, shriveled celery stalks.

I can teach you how to stretch your dollars into even more meals that will impress all the mouths at your table.
